Our client, the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and its educational subsidiary, the College of Insurance and Financial Management (CIFM), invite applications from exceptional, high-performing professionals to fill several senior leadership positions.

1. Deputy Registrar in CIIN (Ref: CIIN01)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

The Deputy Registrar serves as a top management team member supporting the Registrar in driving operational excellence across Membership, Technology, Governance, and Institutional Performance functions, while also supporting the Registrar in executing and delivering Council-approved strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of short- and long-term strategic goals.

  • Drive membership growth and revenue expansion.

  • Oversee digital systems, IT governance, and data compliance.

  • Provide high-level committee and governance support.

  • Strengthen operational efficiency and institutional performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Masters in Science degree in Business, Insurance, Law, Finance, or related fields.

  • Associate or Fellow of CIIN.

  • 12-15 years of working experience.

  • Proven top management leadership experience.

  • Strong governance, digital transformation, and performance management exposure.


2. Head of Finance Department in CIIN (Ref: CIIN02)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

The Head of Finance Department is responsible for financial strategy, reporting integrity, treasury management, statutory compliance, and financial governance of the Institute.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual budgeting and financial planning process.

  • Deliver timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

  • Ensure statutory tax compliance (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pensions, etc.).

  • Oversee treasury and liquidity management.

  • Support Finance & General Purposes Committee.

  • Strengthen ERP and financial systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.

  • ACA/ACCA/ICAN/ANAN (mandatory).

  • MBA or MSc Finance preferred.

  • 12-15 years of working experience.

  • Proven top management leadership experience.

  • Strong treasury, compliance, and governance expertise.

  • Experience in a professional body, regulatory, or not-for-profit environment is an advantage.


3. Head of Academic in CIFM (Ref: CIFM01)

Location: Nigeria

The Head of Academic is the Chief Academic Officer of CIFM, responsible for academic strategy, curriculum development, faculty leadership, research advancement, quality assurance, and student experience excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management of Academic Strategy.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality academic and training programs.

  • Manage curriculum development and accreditation.

  • Lead faculty recruitment, development, and performance.

  • Oversee student admissions, progress, and experience.

  • Drive research initiatives and industry partnerships.

  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance.

  • Manage academic budgets and resources.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Master of Science degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • AIIN or FIIN qualification preferred.

  • Minimum 12-15 years of working experience in academic leadership, including senior roles.

  • Strong curriculum development and executive education experience.

  • Academic leadership experience and Insurance/finance industry knowledge.

  • Demonstrated ability to build academic credibility and programme growth.
